Sonoma County Food Drive
Give a little. Get a little gift. Experience a lot.
This holiday season, many of our Sonoma County neighbors are struggling to put food on the table.
Over 41,000 local residents face food insecurity and rely on community support to get by.
You and I can help change that.
I’m hosting a Holiday Food Drive to support the Redwood Empire Food Bank and families right here in our community.
How the Food Drive Works
On Thursday, November 20th, I’ll be driving through local neighborhoods to pick up donated groceries from participating homes. If that date doesn’t work for you, we can coordinate an alternate pickup time that fits your schedule.Rachel Hazlett-Karr_Food Drive …
You don’t have to go anywhere special or attend an event.
Just set a bag of groceries out on your front step and I’ll take care of the rest.
What to Donate
Most needed foods include: …
Canned tuna
Canned chicken
Peanut butter
Rice
Pasta
Oats
Dry beans
Low-sugar cereal
Donation guidelines:
No glass containers
No open packages
No homemade or expired items
No household cleaners or chemical goods
You’re also welcome to donate fresh, homegrown produce from your yard, such as zucchinis, tomatoes, or extra fruit. I’ll deliver these perishable items directly to the Redwood Empire Food Bank so local families receive nutritious food alongside pantry staples.Rachel Hazlett-Karr_Food Drive …

Harvest extra fruit or veggies and I’ll deliver them directly to the food bank.Venmo donation if you’re short on time

A Special Thank-You Gift
As a small way to say thank you, everyone who participates in the food drive will receive a special gift from me.
It’s my way of appreciating your generosity and your care for our Sonoma County neighbors.
Your contribution—whether it’s one bag of groceries, a box of garden produce, or a Venmo donation—helps reduce hunger for families living just down the street.
