Iconic Charm, Natural Beauty, Montgomery Village

Hi friends!

I just dropped a new video I think you’ll love—especially if you’re as curious about Santa Rosa’s history and neighborhoods as I am.

Did you know that in 1949, a house was built in just six and a half hours… right here in Santa Rosa? That wild day marked the beginning of Montgomery Village as we know it. The story’s almost too good to be true, but it’s real—and I dive into it in this new video tour.

I also share why Montgomery Village is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Santa Rosa—from the classic mid-century homes and tree-lined streets to the parks, trails, and newly revitalized shopping center. (Hint: Anthropologie is finally coming to Sonoma County…)

This one was so much fun to make. I even share a recent sale and a few of my favorite hidden spots along the creek trail.

Let me know what you think—and feel free to forward it to a friend who might love this neighborhood too!

Warmly,
Rachel
